Their existing analogue two-way radio system struggled to provide adequate coverage due to new infrastructure developments on-site. To maintain efficiency and support their expanding operations, they required a robust communication system with full coverage across their distribution centre

As NEXT’s trusted supplier, Ninehundred Communications Group recommended and installed a Motorola Mototrbo Digital Radio system. This solution provided immediate full-site coverage for both handheld and fixed mobile radios, ensuring seamless communication across all areas of the distribution centre.

Beyond solving the initial coverage issue, the system offers future-proof capabilities such as site and telephone interconnect, integration with fire, equipment, and intruder alarms, as well as advanced applications like TRBOnet for voice recording, GPS tracking for lone worker safety, and job ticketing for operational efficiency.

With the new digital radio installation, NEXT Distribution now benefits from complete site coverage with no black spots, clearer voice communications, and robust handsets equipped with Motorola’s ambient noise reduction system.
