Combining evidence capture, live streaming and instant communications into a single device, the SC580 helps improve safety, accountability and operational efficiency across a wide range of industries.
Compact, lightweight and comfortable to wear throughout an entire shift, the SC580 measures just 91mm x 55mm x 29mm while delivering the performance expected from a professional-grade body camera. Its slim profile allows users to wear the device comfortably on uniforms, workwear or PPE without restricting movement.
At the heart of the SC580 is Hytera’s advanced video technology. Featuring 6-axis image stabilisation, the camera delivers smooth, stable footage even when the wearer is moving quickly or operating in challenging environments. Optional starlight night vision technology enables the camera to capture detailed colour footage in low-light conditions, helping ensure critical evidence is not lost when visibility is poor.
Designed to support frontline operations, the SC580 offers up to 10 hours of continuous recording and includes pre-event recording capabilities of up to 120 seconds. This ensures important moments leading up to an incident are captured automatically, providing a more complete picture of events.
For organisations requiring enhanced operational awareness, the SC580 supports simultaneous recording and live video streaming through Hytera’s dual-stream technology. Users can securely record high-definition footage locally while transmitting a live video stream to supervisors or control rooms for real-time monitoring and support.
The SC580 also offers optional Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) functionality, allowing the device to operate as both a body camera and communication tool. Using Hytera’s PTToC platform, users can instantly communicate with colleagues at the push of a button, reducing the need to carry separate communication devices. Dual microphones and advanced noise-cancellation technology ensure clear audio performance, even in noisy environments.
