Dispatcher

This position has become available due to continued growth and success.

The role is in a busy hire despatch desk working alongside an established team. You will be on-hiring, off-hiring and despatching communications equipment to our customers nationwide.

The job role:

  • Collecting and scanning equipment onto customer contracts.
  • Packaging and sending hire and sale kit out via courier and staff.
  • Quality checks of equipment prior to despatch.
  • Preparing equipment for hire and sale orders.
  • Identifying damaged equipment.
  • Learning all item product codes.
  • Liaising with other departments ensuring successful on-time deliveries.
  • Occasionally dealing with customers on-site and over the phone.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A flexible approach to working hours is beneficial
  • Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
  • A good approach to teamwork
  • Ability to prioritise workload whilst working on multiple projects
  • Good PC literacy
  • Strong personal motivation and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to maintain a tidy work environment
  • Ability to motivate oneself
  • Healthy interest in accuracy and uniformity

The Package:

  • Salary £16,000
  • Permanent full time – Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm
  • 20 days’ holiday rising to 25 days
  • On-site parking
