Senior IT Engineer

The Ninehundred Communications Group is a successful communications company based in Doncaster, that has been trading for over 44 years and are looking for a Senior IT Engineer.

The Role:
As a senior IT engineer, you will provide escalation support to 1st and 2nd line teams. Writing comprehensive policies and procedures, including disaster recovery plans and Cyber Essentials compliance, proactively identifying and addressing issues and vulnerabilities at customer sites. You will deploy, migrate, and maintain Microsoft 365 cloud services Handle Hyper-V and VMWare infrastructures, including clustering.

The Candidate:

Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Exchange, Hyper-V, Windows 10/11, Office 2019/Microsoft 365, and VMWare.
Project management experience with server and network migrations (on-premises and cloud).
Solid background in Azure/Microsoft 365.
Excellent customer-facing skills and experience dealing with stakeholders.
Ability to write IT policies, procedures, and project plans.
Experience with firewalls, routing, and VLAN technologies.
A valid UK driving license
