How TRACKER Locate works

The operation of TRACKER Locate can be broken down into four main areas:

Notify and Activate

Following installation of the TRACKER Locate tracking device which is hidden, should the worst happen and your vehicle is stolen, activation of the device will start the process to help recover the vehicle. This process will begin when you notify Tracker or in some cases the Motion Sensor may have already done this dependent on set up.

Using TRACKER receiver installed in Police vehicles and helicopters, 3 methods of location tracking (VHF, GSM and GPS) are utilised. The powerful VHF system can locate vehicles hidden in locations such as containers and underground car parks.  The system is also protected against signal jamming devices trying to prevent detection.

Once the vehicle is located, Tracker will arrange for a Security Guard to protect the vehicle until it is recovered (subject to terms and conditions)

Your vehicle will be recovered to your chosen location
