We've Won An Award!

Our 900Hybrid Trauma Kit has won the MPA Health and Safety Award

We're thrilled to announce that our 900Hybrid Trauma Kit has been awarded the prestigious MPA Health and Safety Award! This industry-leading kit is designed with advanced safety features to protect you and your team in any emergency.

The Product

Designed with the goal of reducing the response time for emergency first aid equipment to reach personnel, the easy-carry first aid kit contains a defibrillator allowing for life-saving care to be delivered in record time. We aimed to change the behaviour of emergency responders and improve their ability to provide timely and effective emergency medical care. By partnering with a manufacturer to design a portable carry case, we enabled staff members to easily transport defibrillators, ensuring that essential first-aid equipment is always available where it's needed.

In emergency situations, the quicker you can access a defibrillator and get personnel to administer CPR, the higher the chances of survival. And when every second counts, the high-visibility material on the backpack allows it to stand out even in low-light conditions. The backpack also includes a RapidStop Tourniquet, which is specifically designed to help control haemorrhaging in cases of injuries to both the arms and legs.

Development

We collaborated with a manufacturer to design a carry case, allowing staff to carry defibrillators with them to ensure there was always first aid equipment at the point of work. The carry case included the five different first aid modules, listed here, the ensure that teams could be ready for any accident on site. This involved our development team, the manufacturer and staff members who were able to provide feedback on the product.

Over time, we found a need for a lighter, more easily transportable case that allows staff to carry their other equipment on site as well. This led us to develop the 900Hybrid Trauma Backpack, a rapid-response trauma and first aid kit.

After 18 months of testing and feedback, we have finally developed a carry solution that provides a comfortable and safe environment for the products inside.

MPA Health and Safety Award 2024

Having a long-standing relationship with Tarmac, we introduced them to the 900Hybrid Trauma Backpack to help them continuously enhance site operations, including critical safety improvements. Earlier this year, they requested our support in applying for this prestigious industry award.

To help support this, we visited the site with our staff and the manufacturer, filming the product in the environment which helped to highlight the need for rapid access to this kit in very remote locations.

This product has been deployed in the Rail industry, where remote location requires swift medical assistance, especially where there may be a limited amount of staff working on a hazard. We firmly believe that this product is essential for any industry where employees work away from a main building, as defibrillators can save lives and make a significant difference in emergency cases. We are already seeing an increase in many public places that are now equipped with defibrillators, and more people are being trained to use them. We hope this trend continues to extend to our workplaces too, where employee safety and well-being should be a top priority.
