Eve Merton Dreams Trust
The Eve Merton Dreams Trust was set up in 2011 and is a Doncaster based non profit organisation that raises money that is then used to help a terminally or seriously ill cancer patient to create or fulfil a dream.
Ninehundred Communications are proud to support the Eve Merton Dreams Trust by providing two way radio equipment and services for Events and other activities.
This registered charity is named in memory of the mother of one of the Trust's founders after Eve Merton sadly passed away early in 2011.
The Trust's intentions are to raise money through generous donations and through organised events and activities. To help them do this they have an enthusiastic, committed and experienced team of volunteers and their very own Charity Heroes.
Over £250,000 raised so far by a Doncaster Charity for Doncaster People
With the money they raise the Trust allocates funding and resources to terminally or seriously ill cancer patients in the Doncaster area that are used to fulfil a Dream - a trip to the zoo, renewal of wedding vows, iPads for use by cancer patients at Doncaster Royal Infirmary - all very different but all meaning so much to the patients and their families.
The Dreams the Trust have fulfilled to date are for patients of all ages and are awarded to those selected through a requests system that considers applications and prioritises them - the more money they can raise, the more requests can be accepted to help a patients Dream come true.
Some of the wishes and dreams come true include:
In addition to providing funding and resources to deliver Dreams, the Trust also awards an annual Grant - Eve's Grants. Eve Merton Dreams Trust awards one Grant per year to a Doncaster resident that is suffering from any life threatening condition based on appraisal of requests they receive, are aware or made aware of.
With your help we want to support the Eve Merton Dreams Trust so they can award more grants to help people realise their dreams...
Please, help us help them. Any donations, however small, will be greatly appreciated and really make a difference to the patients the Trust works with.
