Our technical department is 30 engineers strong split across bench & installation engineers. In 2006 we finished an extension to our Head Office premises in Doncaster giving us a workshop facility of 4,000 sq feet.

This is unrivalled in the UK and allows us to operate efficiently and quickly and to build up radio system infrastructures in-house before installing on site for thorough testing and calibration.

We pride ourselves in the level of service we can offer to our customers. One of our fastest growing areas is on-site maintenance contracts, offering 24 / 7 cover where required.
We have designed some bespoke preventative maintenance packages which are unique in the UK and require Ninehundred’s level of investment, currently 70 staff, to be able to deliver them effectively.

Another area that has expanded in the last few years is the considerable amount of trunked radio systems that we have installed. We use a number of manufacturers for the infrastructure depending on what features are required by the end user. Control room installations are obviously customer bespoke but we have the engineering knowledge and experience to satisfy most requirements.

Our installation teams are trained in all the relevant aspects of their work and hold ECITB safety passports, CSCS Construction Skills Health and Safety Test, attend working at height courses and SPANSET Height Safety equipment and Appreciation and Inspection. Additional in house training covers fault finding, rectification work and product updates.
