 Push To Talk (PTT) is a radio service for businesses that uses mobile phones instead of traditional 2 way radios.
This provides a distinct advantage over the traditional mobile phone whereby calls can be made on a one-to-one basis or to group of users and without the need to dial numbers. If deemed necessary, the handset can also be used as a regular mobile phone, avoiding the need to carry a phone and a radio.
Push To Talk enables instant voice communication functionality to allow teams to focus on the job at hand while offering the ability to talk instantly with colleagues in a one-to-one or group manner regardless of location.
By using the data channel on mobile networks to transmit the communication, Push To Talk provides fixed costs, global coverage and resilience.
1Touch PTT is the core product of our Push To Talk services and is offered as a package utilising the BB3G handset that has been designed with features and specifications compatible with all the 1Touch services that can be added to the core Push To Talk service.

We recognise the investment some businesses have made in existing arrangements for their mobile phone provision and the Push To Talk software can be added to a range of compatible handsets* using your own data enabled Sim Cards with O2, Orange or Vodafone. This option is perfect for PTT. Alternatively you may decide to implement a mix of your own handsets for PTT and the fully featured BB3G Handset for use with the added services - the choice is yours!
